A member in our Monster family has just brought home their two kittens, Mister and Modig. We will be following their journey and adventures as they grow up in their new home. We've received the first update about the kittens.
Mister and Modig are two very curious and outgoing boys who have made themselves at home as little princes here since day one. Now that we've gotten to know them better, we can see their personalities shining through more and more. Mister is a calm and secure guy who tends to bond with the dogs in the household. He loves to be where they are and enjoys lying close to them while sleeping. Modig is the one who talks the most, often and a lot. He’s usually close by and likes to follow you if you go somewhere. Both are very social and love company, but they can also enjoy some quiet time alone in a calm spot. They both love food, and exploring new places and things is so much fun for them! They play and wrestle a lot, but in the blink of an eye, they’re both asleep like logs. Life as a kitten seems truly wonderful!
Buying a kitten is a magical experience that many look forward to. But what do you really need to create a safe and harmonious environment? Here are our top tips for preparing your home for the kitten's arrival.
1. food and water bowls: when thinking about what equipment you need for your kitten, bowls for food and moisture are a must. Choose ceramic or stainless steel bowls to avoid allergies.
2. Best cat food: When it comes to choosing the best cat food for your kitten, it's important to go for high-quality kitten food. Monster offers both kitten dry food and wet food to support their growth and development. Start by introducing the food slowly and let them adjust at their own pace.
3. litter box and sand: A good litter box is essential. Start with a box that is easy for the kitten to step into, preferably with a high rim to minimize spills. Ever Clean Litterfree Paws is highly recommended as the larger particles of sand reduce the risk of it getting caught in the paws, making litter box training easier and the home cleaner.
4. Cozy crib: Give your kitten a safe and cozy crib or soft blanket to rest in after all the day's adventures.
5 Toys: To stimulate your kitten's curiosity and energy, invest in fun toys such as small balls, feather bouncers and interactive toys.
6. Scratching post: Start early with a scratching post to teach the kitten to scratch in the right places and protect your furniture.
By thinking through these purchases carefully, your kitten will get the best start in its new home!
