Pure Poultry Large Breed – for large dogs

Large dogs have different nutritional needs than smaller dogs. That is why Monster Dog Classic Pure Poultry Large Breed has been specially formulated for adult dogs of large breeds.

This recipe features protein and fat levels tailored to the needs of large dogs. Since a large, heavy body also puts greater strain on the joints, the food contains glucosamine and chondroitin to support the joints and help the dog stay active longer.

But it's not just the ingredients that set it apart from our regular foods—the kibble itself is also designed for larger dogs.

The kibble pieces are significantly larger, with a diameter of 17–19 mm and a thickness of 7–9 mm. The larger size should encourage chewing and provide large dogs with kibble that is better suited to their size.

For large dogs that prefer red meat, there's also Monster Dog Classic Simply Red Large Breed.

Just like Pure Poultry Large Breed, this recipe is specially formulated for adult dogs of large breeds, with the right balance of protein and fat, as well as extra joint support from glucosamine and chondroitin.

Simply Red Large Breed also features our extra-large kibble, measuring 17–19 mm in diameter and 7–9 mm in thickness, designed to suit larger dogs and encourage chewing.

Pure Poultry Large Breed and Simply Red Large Breed are also a little extra special to us—they are Monster’s first dog foods specifically developed for large breeds, both in terms of recipe and kibble size.
